I don't know about it having the "messiest/ugliest" initial stage sketches ever, but the final definitely has brilliant coloring :) Gives off that cold sad wintery feel as you potrayed it to be. Lucky commissioner!

you wanna see mutant initial sketchwork, oh boy do i got some stuff that will make you run for the hills~

i lvoe this image anyway, the stormy weather. I lvoe dark and stormy, and you carried that out well in the colour tones.

you can jsut feel the drama tugging at your heart strings, it hurts so good >~<
